Advanced Guild Layout Tutorial

Before we get started, I have a feeling that some people made a mistake and are looking for some quick and desperate help. If you save your guild layout before inserting your own links and for some reason, are unable to navigate back to the inside of your guild, please go to your guild's homepage. From your guild's URL, copy the last 7 digits and paste them to the end of the URL you see below:

http://www.neopets.com/guilds/guild_invite.phtml?id=

Paste that into your browser's address bar and you should be into your guild again. If you need any help with this, please post a message on the tagboard or neomail dark_riku_765.

Now, to customize your links, I've found it's more helpful, visually, to copy the code you want and first paste it into a notepad, which is what I used for this tutorial. You don't have to, but it may help. In the code, locate your links. I've either placed them at the very begining or very end of the code, but they will always look like one of these two samples:

Also please note that depending on how the layout is built, the order of the links may change, but they will still be in the same bundle.

Adjusting your links is very simple and you only need to change 4 of the 5. You can ignore the one that says "/index.phtml". The other four all end in ".phtml?id="

Now, at your guild homepage, if you look at your guild's URL, you'll notice a seven-digit id:

Copy it and paste those seven-digits after those 4 ".phtml?id=" like so:
