Happy President's Day, US! Rofl, I think it's legit.
First, I bring you the 5/6 month delayed Ao no Exorcist Chara Pos. Chara Pos are traditionally 16 poster sets, but they often like to make just 8 unique posters and then a duplicate batch, often shinier than the previous. Pretty much what they did with these, except they also made the second batch monochromatic. I didn't feel like scanning that. o3o
Find the full size versions at AP or MT. MF alternate is also available, password is 'towairaito'.
One new userlookup for the week! It features characters from Puella Magi Madoka Magica. The render used for the layout is also available in the PNG area.
Smaller graphics include 2 new Conan O'Brien animations (Puppy Conan is too cute...), 3 new Sengoku Basara animations, 2 new La Storia Della Arcana Famiglia icons, 1 new Prince of Tennis icon, 1 new Beyblade icon, & 1 new Final Fantasy XIII icon. Some one was playing with a Yuj render and I couldn't help myself. C: Most of the rest were requests.
Also, how much does it suck that you can get email spam on your cell? :/

Well, I was going to go about my pimping of VIZ in an entirely different way, but since Mangastream announced that they're ending their scanlations of VIZ titles, I'll change it up a bit. I'm not upset with VIZ for going after them. They have every right to. Manga industries are struggling in the US and VIZ is trying very hard to keep afloat. So much so, they sped up their releases so that most volumes for major series are essentially caught up with their Japanese counterparts. Digital volumes, that is. Print is still behind, understandably. No longer can fans complain that their favorite series are 3 years behind the Japanese releases. For the popular series, anyways. And now, VIZ has gone and released a weekly digital version of Shonen Jump. It's currently 2 weeks behind Japanese releases, but from the rumors I've heard (nothing official), if it does well enough, the big shots in Japan will allow them to release as quickly as 3 days after the Japanese release. I really want this to do well. It's just $26 for a yearly subscription; about $3 a month. Seriously, skip out on a cup of coffee for a day and you're set. The subscription also works with the VIZ Media app so you can read on your iPod or whatever. :3 I have it and I've read through it. I must say, they've done a very good job with it. Buy official and help the authors (and publishers). I can't tell you how PO'd I am that I can't have Kingdom Hearts manga anymore. o_o Pirates, start paying up. Pirates who were buying anyway, thank you!
I have a new style of petpage layout available, but it's only available in one color scheme so far. Its style is simply called 'Style 2'. You may be wondering where style 1 is. Who knows. X) -lazy- There's also a new userlookup layout for the Ravenclaw house. That's the third layout design I tried and ultimately settled on. But now I'm worried it might be too clean-cut. :S
Also available are 3 new signs featuring characters from Final Fantasy IV, Final Fantasy XIII, & Fairy Tail.
@.@ Between anatomy crams and the many hours spent playing XIII-2, you should all be astounded that this update exists. X) And I'm still pumping out old requests, although a few of you have succeeded in stumping me. Night Rider? Wha-? >.<
Also, does it look like the titles got smaller or am I going crazy? >.>;

If you don't already know, I live in the Northwest and a couple weeks ago, we got hit with loads of snow! It's kind of funny when the NW gets snow because the west side (of the Cascades) doesn't ordinarily get significant amounts of snow. So when any weatherman mentions snow, they freak out. For example, my sister's school is on the west side and they closed their campus merely in anticipation of snow. (They got rain.) By comparison, my campus (east side) waited until it got this bad before they cancelled classes. And it was only cancelled for one day, although the snow still hasn't totally disappeared. Part of the problem is not only west side's typical lack of snow, but that the NW is environmentally friendly. I can't speak for every city, but using salt on roads is typically not done. Some private properties will use it for walkways though. Instead, de-icing fluid is used, but once the snow starts sticking, pretty much just snowplows and gravel that gets used. It tends to make for entertaining news pieces of cars playing pinball down roads.
I have scans of the mini-artbook that came with my FFXIII-2 game (haha, you're all screwed now! XDDD). I've added a download link from Mediafire. I altered the file name so it won't be easy to find at random (although it is easy to decode XD). It's also password protected, but that's also easy to guess ('towairaito'). I will slowly bring back deleted MF files, at the same slovenly pace I've been fixing the Naruto userlookups at. Part of this is because I have to remake & upload the zips. My plan was to delete everything from MF after that little stint a couple months ago, but then keep them on MegaUpload so that they'd be easy to re-upload if I wanted to at a later date. Hahahaha. Dammit.
I think the full hard back artbook would have been way cooler, but it was $200+ with the game. o___o
I forgot to mention it, but Applepious got an update last week. The adoption center also picked up some new additions recently. :3
I'm also not gonna be releasing any layouts this weekend because of Monday exams. D: And XIII-2. :3

Blame anatomy

Please excuse the minimalistic update. I have my first psych quiz this week and it's the same day as my monster anatomy lab test. Yes, we have to get to look and poke at cadavers. 6 at a time, some days. The first test covers all of the bones, holes in bones, parts of the bones, and muscles of the human body. Haha! I'm not even a month into this class and I want to cry. T___T And I have weekly vocab tests on Mondays in a medical terminology class. BS, riiiiight? NOT QUITE. I get to learn geeky things like how glycocardio, while not a real word, would mean sweetheart. Impress some girls on Valentine's day, studs. <3
My only update includes 10 new avatars for Final Fantasy XIII Versus (1), Vocaloid (1), Sengoku Basara (2), kuragehime (1), One Piece (1), Gintama (1), Ao no Exorcist (1), Tegami Bachi (1), and Lucky Star (1).

Since this update is rather lacking, I thought I'd go ahead and do something I haven't done in a while: pimp a manga. This one's called Harlem Beat wa Yoake Made. It's a shoujo by an author that typically does yaois, apparently. So, there are some gay jokes in there. :p I just finished it and it's pretty funny/cute. It's supernatural/school themed and I'd probably give it a PG/PG-13 rating. For those interested, I'll key you in on something I did not immediately pick up on and that would explain the almost random appearance of a dog early on: The three guys in black outfits are a werewolf, vampire, and (I think) a frankenstein. MF says he's a zombie, but I think the facial scar and super strength = frankenstein. There just aren't enough sexy frankensteins these days. (^_^)b The plot to reveal the main character's identity does get a little repetitive (and you begin to wonder just how stupid the previous trio is), but the author does manage to keep things lively and entertaining. Give it a shot if you're looking for something to read. I'm actually surprised how much I enjoyed it. It's a finished series coming in at about 27 chapters.

Dance the dance of life

Know what sucks? They advertise the new 4G iPods as having 8GB storage capacity, but they don't tell you that the freaking OS devours 20% of that. o___o I don't have anything else to add. That just really sucks.

Bahaha, I had this brilliant idea during one of my ADD moments (I've started so many things this weekend and I will never finish any of them. XDDD) and I decided to make Pikachu do the first bit of the Lonely Boy dance. Surprisingly difficult to do in pixel form and with a creature with such stubby limbs. >.> He's far from perfect, but I think he's kinda cute. If you don't like that one, I've got another animation of him doing a much shorter dance... looks more like he's walking, really. And if you don't like dancing pikachu's, there's one that just does a few cute facial movements. And if you don't like moving pikachus, there's an unanimated version as well. :3 -basescovered-
