Screenie Making Tutorial

This specific tutorial will require a program called paint and photobucket image host. You can use other image editing programs and other image hosts.

First, find what it is you want to take a screenshot of. On your keyboard, find the 'Print Screen/SysRq' button. It should be at the top, right hand side of your keyboard, just above the 'Insert' key.

Press it. It has automatically copied the entire screen of whatever it is you were viewing and set it as your active copied selection. People familiar with copying and pasting should understand this process.

Open up your paint program (or other image editor such as Paint Shop Pro 8 or Photoshop 7). Go up to Edit> Paste.

Example

The image you chose to make into a screenie should appear. Edit it in any way you like then save it into a folder you can easily find.

Go here and sign up free if you aren't already signed up or don't have another image host.

Upload your image to your album and use the Direct Link as your image URL.
