Tagboard terms of use!

  • By using Towairaito's tagboard, you acknowledge that spamming is not tolerated. If you repeatedly spam up the tagboard, you will be banned and will not be allowed back onto the board. This also means you may not create multiple names and chat to yourself on all of them. Yes, I can tell when this happens. No, I am not psychic.

  • Multiple name registration is also not tollerated. I don't need anyone hoarding off user names. If you are caught doing this, you will be banned and I will free up all of the names you took.

  • Your language must be appropriate. There are mild filters for the tagboard, but I realize that doesn't do a whole lot of good these days. You will again be given a warning if I feel your language is not appropriate for Towairaito or an altogether ban if you're deliberately abusing the board. If you are given a warning and decide to continue on with your poor choice of words, you will be banned.

  • Advertising is not allowed, though you may tag a web address or your email address into your name. You may mention other websites, shops, guilds, places, etc, in casual conversation, but you cannot stick around the tagboard solely for the purpose of recruiting others.

  • Impersonating other tagboard members, as revenge (or otherwise), is not allowed. The only exception to this rule is if two visitors use the same name as their alias. If you wish to keep your tagboard name for your own personal use, please register it.

  • The tagboard isn't for dating. Either take it elsewhere or I will ban you.

  • The tagboard is not a guild chat board either. Don't treat it like one.

  • And finally, graphic suggestions are alright to post on the tagboard, but please keep the requests to the forms. x) K?

The tagboard is meant for friendly conversations among Towai's visitors. If I feel as though anyone is not using the tagboard for that purpose, they will be perminently banned from the tagboard.

    Tagboard FAQ!

I posted a lot of messages and am suddenly unable to post. Why is this?
You have spammed the tagboard. The tagboard doesn't like spam. It will ban you for spamming, so don't spam. x) Anyone caught by the tagboard will be placed under this ban for 30 minutes. If you continue to spam, I will re-inforce your ban and make it as long as I wish, because I am all powerful...and pay annually to use the tagboard's services. xD

My message did not come through as I intended it to. (For example: "You're so -inappropriate use of language-" vs. "You're so gay.")
I have created a very colorful filter for the tagboard. If you choose to use inapproprite language on my tagboard, I will have fun with you. x) While some words aren't not bad in a technical sense, I have removed those which are often used in a derrogatory fashion. I can see what you actually said from my control panel and can therefore determine if you should be banned from the tagboard or if it was a simply missunderstanding.

I am unable to use my tagboard name for some reason. Why is this?
Although the tagboard may tell you that your name has been password protected, this is often not what has happened. The tagboard is currently running under an "auto username protection" command that helps cut back on impersonations. Under this feature, guests do not need to register their names to have them protected during a conversation. "It applies temporary protection which expires 10 or 20 minutes after the user stops posting. It requires that cookies be enabled in order for Cbox to recognise the user if he or she returns to your Cbox within the protection period." (Cbox) In otherwords, if you have returned to the board during that 10-20 minute time frame and you are unable to use your name, it's likely because you're visiting in a different window than you were previously using and your IP address has changed, thus the tagboard doesn't recognize you. This is a common accident, but with a little patience, the problem will correct itself.

I registered a name and forgot my password. Can you please send it to me?
I cannot because passwords are not kept on file and I no longer have them sent to me via registration forms. You must either wait 3 months before the system cleans out your name or prove to me that the name belongs to you and I can then manually change its password.

I registered my name, but its no longer password protected. Why?
All self-registered names must be used after registration. Doing this creates a log in the system so it can manage your usage. An unused name is translated to the system as an abandoned name and is then swept out for re-use. If you have used your name but it is no longer private, then the name has been unactive for 3 months. Any names that aren't used for three months are swept out of the system automatically to keep names from running out and encourage activity on the tagboard.
